Churros French Toast with Nutella Sauce Recipe

Nuetlla Sauce:
  • ¼ cup Nutella
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
Cinnamon Sugar:
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
French Toast:
  • 2 eggs
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • ⅔ cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoons of salted butter
  • 4 slices of thick bread
  1. In a small bowl, add in Nutella and heavy cream; microwave for 15 seconds and mix well. Set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix in sugar and ground cinnamon; set a side.
  3. In a large mixing bowl, add in eggs, sugar, and salt; beat until well mixed. Then add in vanilla and milk; beat until homogeneous.
  4. Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  5. Deep slices of bread in the wet mixture one by one, and cook until golden brown for about 2 minutes for each side.
  6. Finally sprinkle cinnamon sugar generously on top of the bread and flip it over. Repeat on the other side.
  7. Transfer to a serving plate. Drizzle with Nutella chocolate sauce and serve with ice cream.
