It seems there are a lot of kitchen utensils needed for cooking and yes actually I use many of them. And today I am going to show you 10 essential kitchen tools found in my kitchen island.
Basic cooking utensils
First, whisks. It has a big balloon, so it’s good for beating egg whites. And I love a silicon whisk because it doesn’t make a lot of noise and doesn’t scratch my mixing bowls and sauce pans, etc.
Then, spatula. I have three kinds of spatula. Large, medium, and small. Larger one for thick batter and a large amount of mixture. Medium one for everyday use, and small one for small bowls.
And pasta spoon, of course for spaghetti and noodles.
And tongs for mixing and transferring delicate foods.
And ladle to serve liquids.
And a turner. I have many turners. They are for turning pancake, eggs, fish, etc.
And grater. This is single-side grater for citrus zest and Parmesan cheese.
And brush. For brushing oil on a baking pan or a frying pan and, of course, for egg wash.
And wooden spoon. I love the feel of wooden stick. And it doesn’t scratch my mixing bowls (& sauce pans). And most of all it’s a poor conductor of heat.
And finally, slotted spoon. It’s very handy when you transfer food out of hot liquid or oil.
That’s it, these are 10 essential kitchen tools in my kitchen island.
And last week I slept really really a lot both day and night. And now I am feeling much much better. And I don’t have weekly schedule anymore. I can’t guarantee you a video a day anymore. But I will do my best it’s really a lot of fun to make videos and cooking, everything. Thank you for watching. Bye. See you soon.
