I know what Reddit people say but Buzzfeed Food is different.
Buzzfeed Food staff usually ask for permission. I also received an email from Jemima Skelley (Buzzfeed staff) when she wanted to feature a photo of my bacon recipe. But not this time. No emails. No credit. And this time they ‘recreated’ my cookies with their own version of cookie video.
Now Buzzfeed corrected their rainbow heart cookie post: “CORRECTION: These cookies are the creation of Eugenie Kitchen. An earlier version of this post mistakenly failed to give her credit for their recipe; we apologize for not realizing they didn’t originate from the minds of BuzzFeed producers!” I appreciate.
The least thing we need in life is an unnecessary trouble but what can I do? Things like this always happen around ‘Eugenie Cookies’. And a good thing is what doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Now case closed.
* My “Eugenie Cookies” or “Buzzfeed Cookies”? video on YouTube is now private.
