20-minute skillet honey balsamic soy sauce chicken recipe with a few everyday ingredients in your pantry. Who can resist golden chicken breast with sticky sweet glaze? YUM!
The thick sweet honey glaze beautifully goes with both pan-fried and deep-fried chicken. This chicken recipe is quick and simple yet tantalizingly delicious with Asian touch. I am sure you will make this over and over again. Just pull a few ingredients from the pantry. In 20 minutes the meal will be ready.
Chopped nuts are just a must for me if there is honey glaze in a chicken dish because honey goes perfectly with all sorts of nuts and dried fruits.
To make honey balsamic soy sauce chicken, first cook the chicken. Season over both sides of chicken with garlic salt and pepper. Then heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat, add chicken and cook for about 6 minutes on each side or until the chicken is done. Remove and keep warm.
Then make the glaze. After removing the chicken, reduce the heat to medium. Add in the vinegar, soy sauce, honey and parsley to the pan; cook and stir for 2 minutes or until glaze thickens.
Return chicken to the pan to coat with glaze and pour the glaze over chicken.
The more glaze, the better! It’s finger lickin’ good.
Serve with your choice of carbohydrates and vegetables. And of course, don’t forget to add some chopped nuts.
